GGUSD Announces High School Graduation Schedule and Tips for Parking

Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) is pleased to announce the graduation schedule for the Class of 2017.  Due to school modernization improvement projects occurring on many of GGUSD’s high school campuses, the majority of the graduation ceremonies will be held at the Bolsa Grande Football Stadium at Westminster Boulevard and Deodara Drive.

The high school graduations held at the Bolsa Grande Football Stadium include Bolsa Grande High School on Monday, June 19 at 1:30 p.m.; La Quinta High School on Monday, June 19 at 4:30 p.m. Santiago High School on Monday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m; Garden Grove High School on Tuesday, June 20 at 1:30 p.m.; Los Amigos High School on Tuesday, June 20 at 4:30 p.m.; and Rancho Alamitos High School on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Pacifica High School’s graduation will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 4:00 p.m. at the Orange Coast College Stadium, 2701 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa.  Hare High School will hold graduation on its campus quad on Tuesday, June 20 at 6:00 p.m.

GGUSD is working closely with the Garden Grove Police Department to provide increased traffic control and safety measures.  Those attending graduation ceremonies at Bolsa Grande are encouraged to park in the following locations:

• Bolsa Grande parking lot(in front of the school office), on the southwest corner of the campus at  Deodara Drive and Westminster Avenue
• Parking in the center of Garden Grove Park, directly north of the baseball and softball fields
• Street parking on the west side of Deodara Drive
• Street parking on both sides of Atlantis Way
