GGUSD Hosts Parent Webinar on Stress Management

The Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) invites you to join an upcoming parent webinar on Wednesday, August 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., focused on "Strategies for Managing Stress." The session will feature licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Gerardo Canul and will be conducted in Spanish.

As a district, we understand that many families may be experiencing stress or anxiety related to recent immigration enforcement actions and other challenges. This webinar is designed to provide support, helpful information, and practical tools for managing stress during uncertain times.

Topics will include:

What is stress?
Common reactions to stress
Effective strategies for coping and self-care
