GGUSD Presents the 2018 Showcase of Bands

Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD) marching bands will put their musical performance skills on display when they take the field at the annual “Showcase of Bands” on Wednesday, November 14, at 6 p.m. at Bolsa Grande High School. 

“I look forward to this event every year and enjoy seeing all of the bands put on an amazing show,” said Lan Nguyen, GGUSD Board of Education trustee. “The students put in weeks of hard work and preparation, practicing many hours each day before and after school in order to learn their routines.”

The colorful night of pageantry and family entertainment will feature field show performances by the individual bands and color guards at Bolsa Grande High School Stadium, 9401 Westminster Ave., Garden Grove.

Tickets for the exhibition are $7 each at the gate or can be purchased in advance for $5 from participating students and at the high schools. Children 12 years old and under are free. Proceeds will be shared among the high school band programs – Bolsa Grande, Garden Grove, La Quinta, Los Amigos, Pacifica, Rancho Alamitos, and Santiago.
