The toys were donated by Gary Nguyen, CEO of 24/7 Care at Home; Sonny Nguyen, CEO of 7 Leaves Café; Tam Nguyen, CEO of Advance Beauty College; David Truong, CEO of Mimi's Jewelry; and Jayce Yenson, CEO of Saigon City Marketplace. The group donated toys to several area non-profit organizations as well as to Russell Elementary School.
“Our students lit up when they received holiday gifts from people that they don’t even know,” said Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education President Lan Nguyen. “We are grateful for the generosity of our area business leaders and their willingness to give back to families in need.”
