Three GGUSD Schools Recognized for High Level of Care during COVID-19

The California Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Coalition has recognized three GGUSD schools, including Heritage Computer Science Academy, Stanley Elementary School, and McGarvin Intermediate School, for outstanding contributions of support during the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting disruptions to school.
“GGUSD is well known for its dedicated employees who go above and beyond to care for students and their families,” said GGUSD Board of Education Trustee Dina Nguyen. “Kudos to the staff at these schools for developing innovative ways to build connections and provide social-emotional supports to students and families during this unprecedented time in education”
The California PBIS Community Cares program is a one-year-only program created to highlight schools that have gone above and beyond to provide positive experiences to their students, families, and communities in these challenging times.
